The mind, body and emotions in the ascension journey



The ascension journey is the process of becoming aware that we are soul beings having a human experience and that we are far more powerful than we realise. It is the process of becoming more aware of ourselves and the world around us. It is the process of seeing how we are part of the problem and begin being the change we wish to see in the world. It is the process of embodying our higher selves in human form.


It is unfortunate that the matrix system in which we live has programmed us to become so focused on the material world that we often forget that we are in fact governed primarily by the non-physical world.


The best way to describe this would be to look at the connection between the mind, body and emotions. Our thoughts and emotions (both non-tangible) are what push or inspire us to take physical action. First comes a thought, then comes a feeling, and depending on that feeling (negative or positive), our body will be driven to take some kind of action. Yet it is all of the little actions we take (which most of us are unconscious of) that create our habits and as a result the version of ourselves here today.


This is the power of the mind and emotions on our physical body and our physical life. When we remain unaware and unconscious of our thoughts, emotions and auto-pilot actions, habits and behaviours, we create unwanted obstacles and challenges for ourselves and those around us. We are unable to see how we are partially involved in creating the chaos, drama and un-ease we are trying to distance ourselves from.


This applies as much to our physical body as it does to our lives based on the hermetic principle “as above, so below” and “as within, so without". The principle explains that everything that is happening on a higher, larger, macro level can be best understood by observing what is happening on a lower, smaller, micro level. As such, everything we are experiencing in our lives can be best explained by what is happening in our minds, bodies and emotions.


The endless negative internal dialogue that plagues our mind is what leaves us feeling unworthy, unlovable and not good enough. These unconscious low vibrating thoughts and emotions are what keep us feeling low, depressed and in self-sabotaging patterns; they are also the main cause of dis-ease in our body.


It is unfortunate that the matrix system continues to programme us to believe that we aren’t good enough, we don’t have what it takes, and we must continue to look outside ourselves for the answers that we seek when the real ones reside within.


It is unfortunate that this false matrix system continues to allow us to pollute our minds and bodies as we pollute our lands and seas because we have forgotten that our soul chose to incarnate here now to help restore justice, love and balance to our planet and our hearts.


If we continue to allow unconscious low vibrational thoughts, beliefs and emotions to drive our actions and behaviours, we will continue to pollute our body, pollute our world, and remain in a life that is not fulfilling us. We will continue to experience physical and emotional pain and discomfort that keeps us stuck, unhappy, and unable to live the life we came here for.


The greatest way to embody our highest self in human form is to begin worshipping our body for the temple that it is. We often forget that our physical body incorporates our mind and emotions and together provide a physical vessel for our soul to exist and navigate in while incarnated on Earth.
